In last five years Victoria Beckham has been accepted in fashion industry with the collections she created. She amazed people with her new Autumn/ Winter collection in New York Fashion Week. This collection mapped how far she has come as a designer.
The familiar body-conscious silhouette and pencil skirts that became a Victoria Beckham standard has breathed out. Dresses and skirts featured pleats; loosely-cut sleeveless jackets were worn with slouchy trousers and, oversized masculine coats with gold chain detailing flapped open over cashmere vests surprised her fans. Black and white were the main colors of the show besides fuchsia and red were eye catching. In the collection which particularly appealed to modern and energetic women flat, pointy brogues are used instead of high heels. The dresses which embellished with loose belts, drape pants, chain detailed long coats are the attractive pieces of the show. The elegant and comfortable dresses that applied to especially business women made a strong impression. The new plain but assertive, masculine but elegant style that Victoria Beckham created will sure to be talked about a long time.
During her show Victoria Beckham’s husband and their four children were sitting proudly in the front row. The day before her show Victoria shared a photo of the good luck note her family wrote to support her on Instagram.
The handwritten note read “Good luck mommy, love David, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper xxxxx.” The touching image quickly earned likes from Victoria’s fans.

The fashion designer teamed up with Skype to give fans a glimpse inside her world in the documentary, titled Five Years – The Victoria Beckham Fashion Story.
